over and I will let you know later on as to how things stand".
After this I went away and returned to Sai Wan. I then told
Yim Yu's daughter to take a note (or paper) to go across (the
harbour) to Sau Lin. I entreated her several times but the
refused. She said she did not want to meddle with anything
of the kind. On the fourth day I went again. First of all I
called on Yim Ping'e place. He was not in the house. I then
proceeded to Tim Chun's place. When I got up to his flat he
was sleeping. I then went away. A woman saw m and naked me
where I was going to. I told her that I wanted (to go) to look
for Cheung Eau Lin. Yim Chun called out from his cubicle and
asked who was looking for (her). He then told the people to
see who was there. I then went away. That evening I returned
to fai Van and read a bible in Yim Yu's place. All of a sudden
I saw one Yim Ping walking to and fro there. He came up and
greeted me. He said Sau Lin asked you to go across (the
harbour). Fhe said she would pay back to you a sum of $200.00.
Between 7 and 8 o'clock she will meet you on the tham Shui Po
ferry wharf." I asked why she did not come. At that time I was
very angry. He said "Ɛhe did not want to let Yim Chan know
(of this). Sai Lin told me to come over. Do not let people
know." I then went away. I went to Lascar Row at Sheung Wan
where I bout a knife. The same night I went and killed both
of them (deceased). There were many things that made me Boil
with rage. For the present I am not quite well to speak and expl
ain all clearly.
